The time of webcam and network hard disk recorder in video surveillance system can be calibrated by GPS time server.
Network camera problem: some network cameras do not have network hard disk recorders, such as home network cameras, or devices are in closed Internet, and can not synchronize with the network, using the default time of the system to continue to travel.
For Internet access cameras or NVR, alignment can be achieved through NTP protocol. In the network camera or hard disk recorder configuration interface, by completing the network clock server address after access to Internet, you can calibrate the clock. Because the network between the video surveillance network and the NTP time server in the Internet network is complex, the NTP time server can complete the time synchronization of the video surveillance network, and the reliability is high, but the accuracy is not good. Due to the factors of delay, network congestion and the location of the external authoritative clock source, it is possible for the equipment in the security video surveillance network to occur.Clock proofreading is also insecure and hackers can steal video information over the Internet.
If it is the application of LAN or private network camera and network video recorder, we must first configure the NTP clock server inside the network, and then add the IP address of the SYN2151 type time server to the interface of each webcam or the network hard disk recorder, so as to ensure the time synchronization. Note: in this case, we need to ensure the clock accuracy of the clock server. Generally, the high precision local clock source needs higher cost. The SYN2151 Beidou timing device uses GPS positioning and calibration methods to support the standard protocol NTP protocol, and the connection equipment, support platform and equipment comply with the clock synchronization agreement in the standard protocol. Under this condition, the time synchronization of video surveillance network is guaranteed, and the system clock disorder is reduced.
The compatibility of webcam: due to the use of various webcam in the same surveillance network, such as the original video surveillance network using HUAWEI's camera, the new camera used in upgrading is Dahua. These different brands of webcam video surveillance network are based on Linux, some based on AIX, Solaris, and some even based on Wind. Ows platform, there are some compatibility problems between these different brand webcam and different platforms, or the time format of these terminals is inconsistent, resulting in large time errors.
Commissioning recommendations:
First, we will connect the timing antenna and the clock server to carry out a temporary test to test whether the device and antenna can function properly. After the connection is done, the antenna is placed at the window or outside, and the device is switched on for 2-3 minutes. After receiving the star, it means that the device and antenna can work properly.
The antenna is connected to the antenna /ANT interface of the clock server, the front panel is observed, and after receiving the satellite, the network cable is connected to the clock server, directly connected to the computer / access LAN, and is configured through software or through WEB to login to the device management interface.
Change the default IP and gateway in the server to the IP and gateway of the existing LAN as a network segment.
Click on the lower right corner of the computer to open the time, select "Internet time" - change the settings, select "Internet time server synchronization", change the default "time.windows.com" into the clock server modified IP in the input box, and click "update immediately".
After clicking "immediately update", prompt synchronization is successful, which represents the success of the school.
