Digital frequency meter is a commonly used digital display of the measured signal frequency measurement instrument. Digital frequency meter is an instrument for measuring the frequency of periodically changing signals by using digital circuit technology. The digital frequency meter displays the frequency of the measured signal in digital form. It is mainly used to measure the frequency value of the periodic signals such as frequency, period, time interval, sine wave, rectangle wave, triangle wave and sharp pulse.

Conversely, when the accuracy requirement of the frequency value is relatively high, the longer the gate time is, the longer the time will be, the more accurate the frequency will be, but the longer the interval corresponding to each measurement will be.
