The synchronization time server's protocol packet is NTP or SNTP. The need to popularize SNTP is only a subset of the NTP protocol. Of course, the technology will be much simpler, the R & D cost will be less, and the price will be cheaper. Many businesses in the market will not deceive consumers in order to occupy the market, SNTP will pretend to be a NTP agreement, and users will be unable to give time when the time is synchronized. It is suggested that manufacturers with their own R & D strength and focus on time and frequency industries should be selected, and the price should not be low.


The synchronization time server outputs the format and the number of signals. Commonly used synchronous time servers transmit satellite signals, 1 or 2 NTP can meet the needs of ordinary enterprises and institutions, such as increasing input and output of B codes, such as AC and DC, PTP and other signal formats. Serial ports and 1PPS add hundreds of dollars each. NTP is about 2 thousand yuan, B code is about 500 yuan, and PTP is about 3 thousand yuan. In general, the richer the format of input and output, the more the number of routes. The price of time server will naturally be much more expensive. When purchasing, we will recommend the most suitable rather than the most expensive user.

Different time keeping modules have different prices. The synchronization time server punctuality accuracy is the accuracy of time server relying on the internal clock source when it does not receive the satellite signal.
