NTP Beidou network time server composition and use method

Since the GPS system is controlled by the US military, there is no agreement guarantee available with our country. If GPS fails, the consequences will be disastrous. In recent years, the Beidou school server has been widely applied in various industries, providing high reliability and stability of time service system.

NTP timing is the use of network transmission of standard time, so that each node in the network to achieve time synchronization, also known as network time service. Network time service is flexible and efficient, and it is widely used in time distribution.

The Beidou school server obtains standard time information from the North satellite. It passes all kinds of interface types to the automation equipment that needs time. For example, industrial computer, computer, security equipment, medical equipment, fault recorder, etc., so that the time of the whole system is already the same.


   

The characteristics of NTP timing server are as follows:

The GPS antenna is an active antenna powered by the feeder to receive the time signal sent by the GPS satellite. The product is a 30 meter long antenna. The transmission material of the antenna is oxygen free copper, with antenna support and expansion screws. The antenna can be extended for 50 meters, 70 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters, and the cost will also increase. The lightning arrester is between the server antenna interface and the time antenna directly connected to the network.

(2) the network timing server is composed of 220V power line, time server, and its connection lines, such as network cable or serial port line. When used, plug in the power cord, install the antenna, prepare the work well, open the GPS timer and enter the startup page to observe the number of stars. When the flag V becomes A, it means the current time is valid.

(3) the equipment to be delivered needs to support its own NTP or PTP protocol. If it is B code input, it needs to be able to resolve the B code signal.

After receiving the NTP Beidou network time server, we first need to simply test the situation of receiving stars. Secondly, take the computer as an example to conduct the NTP time service test. The specific steps are as follows:

The SYN2136 Beidou NTP network time server is directly connected to the computer with a network cable. The initial IP of the NTP network time server is 192.168.0.132 by default. Please change the IP of the computer to IP different from the device in the same network segment.

Run the NTPclock time software on the computer as an administrator. Run into the software and fill in the corresponding IP in the time server address column according to the instructions. Here we set the default 192.168.0.132.

Click query host time to correct.

NTP timing server adopts hierarchical network structure. The top layer of the network structure is the first level server, which is directly synchronized with the high precision clock source GPS satellites, BD satellites and atomic clocks. The two level server synchronizes the first level server with the clock source, and synchronizes the time to other two level servers or directly to the computer, server, monitoring security device and time display clock in the network. The hierarchical network structure of NTP has wireless scalability, so it is widely used in time synchronization of LAN devices in Wan and WAN.
