In the near future, our time interval generator and other series of testing instruments for design and development are being applied in the relevant inspection department of CLP 52. The standard source was provided for the 52 time measuring instruments.
This CLP 52 procurement SYN5612 type time interval generator is mainly in line with the "JJF 1686-2018 pulse counter calibration specification" section 6.2.3 requirements. The user's request for this equipment is in accordance with the JJG 723-2008 verification regulation. Before explaining the important performance indicators, let us first understand the working principles and basic terminology.
The time interval generator is also known as the time synthesizer, which produces a variety of time interval signals, which are usually set with pulse period, delay time and pulse width. Its working principle is based on the digital synthesis technology, based on the oscillation period of the high stable quartz crystal oscillator.
The pulse width refers to the time interval between the midpoint of the pulse front and the midpoint of the delay.
Delay time refers to the time interval between the midpoint of the front of the synchronous pulse and the midpoint of the output pulse.
In accordance with customer requirements and verification regulations, our division provides a time interval generator for self design, R & D and production. The model is SYN5612. It is a 4U device. Three important performance indicators, including crystal oscillator, time interval output and pulse output in the device, are strictly in accordance with the requirements of JJ723-2008 inspection regulations.
1. Crystal oscillator in device
The output frequency is 10MHz, the boot characteristic is 1E-8, the daily frequency fluctuation is 1E-8, the daily aging rate is 5E-9, the 1s frequency stability is 1E-10, the frequency repeatability is 1E-8, and the frequency accuracy is 1E-7.
2, time interval output
The output mode is the pulse period and pulse width of a single output pulse train, and the time interval between two output pulse trains. The polarity of output pulse can be positive and negative, and there are logic positive pulse and reverse pulse.
The number of channels is 2 BNC, and the time period is 20ns~10000s. The time interval is 10ns to 10000s, the resolution is 10ns, and the time interval error is + (T * 1 * 10-7+10ns).
3. Pulse output
The SYN5612 type output TTL amplitude characteristic 0.3V ~ 3V satisfies the fixed value in 0.3V ~ 10V required by 4.3.1 in the inspection regulations, and the rising edge and the falling edge are both less than 10ns.
The performance indicators of this time interval generator generally meet or even exceed the requirements of customers and the requirements of the inspection rules. At the same time, the equipment has also sent customers to China Metrology Institute for verification certificates. The items for verification are as follows:
Inspection of appearance and working normality, crystal oscillator inside the machine, continuous pulse period, continuous pulse width, single pulse width, delay time, time interval between two monopulse, pulse rise time and fall time and pulse amplitude.
In addition to the time interval generator, the same type of time and frequency test instruments, such as SYN3204 type rubidium atomic frequency standard, are often produced in Xi'an. They are often used as reference frequency standards in the verification to output 1MHz, 5MHz and 10MH.
